So applicants must keep in touch with updates on publication of results by the exams council (WAEC) as each school division sends out notification just afterwards. For a helpful guide, each division of the school expects application for the:

Senior School (SSS) between September and November of each year.

Junior School (JSS) between August and October of each year.

How it works

First and foremost, during your registration process for BECE or NPSE, ensure that you have Prince of Wales School as your school of choice. This will let the school receive your score when the results are out. The school will then in few weeks time pull out notice for its requred score and interview dates.
For Transfer Applicatns, this process will take a few days after submission of their application forms. After proper review applicants will be called upon for interview and a short prep-test.

1. Application Review

For BECE and NPSE pupils, this will be done on the day of interview. Pupils are expected to bring along all required documents on the day of interview and are expected to be in their previous school uniform when coming for interview.

2. Interview Day

Shortlisted applicants are expected to be on the school ground on time with their parent(s) or gaurdian(s). They should be neatly dressed in their previous school's uniform and should bring along with them all necssary documents as stated in the notice or check them out on the top right of this page. The actual interview is really short and successful interviewees often get their acceptance letters on this day.

3. Admitted As a Princewalean

Upon admission into the school, freshmen should not only see themselves as students but rather as noble princes with good ethics, discipline and morals. They are expected to abide by the school's code of conducts- which involves a lot about character, decency and discipline.
